Welcome to my website. I am an artist and printmaker in Stourbridge, West Midlands. I make art for pleasure and for my well-being. I like to work inside and outside, both locally and further afield.
I am drawn in particular to colour, shapes and small beauties of the present moment, whatever form they take.
I enjoy having other people’s art around me, and looking at artists’ sketches and playful approaches. I am also inspired by the creativity of others across different art forms. Although a visual artist’s work is often a permanent or fixed item, I also find visual art lovely as a transient experience - much like the musical note, which appears and then is gone.
I like many different approaches to art - some of them the very opposite of others.
